Kirk Talley
"MSB Artists Kirk Talley winnes Diamond Award"
This is what Kirk has to say:
Speaking of the Diamond Awards, I was totally shocked when I was awarded SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR! I was dumfounded!!. I was so shocked, I couldn't think of a thing to say. I stammered and stuttered and probably made a fool of myself trying to say "thank you". I do want to say thank you for taking the time to vote in the Diamond Awards. I know some of you voted over and over and all those votes were counted. Thank you so much. Speaking of awards......... I just found out that I am in the top five in some more awards. These awards will be announced at the big Halloween concert in Winston Salem NC on Oct 28th. I appreciate your support in these awards also. The Southern Gospel Music Awards 2006 - Nomination Form

Martin's Bus Fire
Well, Sunday night Sept 3rd at midnight Andrew and Vicki had just finished watching a movie on TV when the phone rang. It was an OPP officer on her way home from work ... "Are you Andrew Martin? Do you own a black bus parked at Burgess Motors? It's on fire!" Andrew ran out the door, got his mom and dad and headed down to the scene. By the time he got there, the fire was basically out, but the damage couldn't really be seen until morning. It looks like the fire was electrical ... specifically the outlet right by Vicki's side of the bed. They rarely used that outlet, but it certainly looks like that's where it started. Were not sure what they made the ceilings from in buses in 1976, but whatever it was was very flammable. The ceiling is gone throughout the bus. You can see the damage from the pics.
I am so thankful that they weren't in the bus. When Andrew and Vicki pulled up around noon the next day, Vicki said her stomach turned just thinking about all that could have happened and all who could have been hurt. They had about 5 calls inquiring about the bus and had plans that day of listing it in the Auto Trader that goes out on the weekend, hoping to generate some action.
We at MSB Agency along with the other artists are so thankful that the Lord is always going ahead of us and protecting us.
Thank you
